Same problem, after update of KB PC will not boot into windows, automatic repair is attempted but fails. Only option is to recover using a backup and postphone the updates for 7 days. Hopefully MS will find a solution soon. Asus board P8hV, Gb SSD, Core i7, current build , 24Gb memory.
